Happy Valentine's Day

A joyful heart is the inevitable result of a heart burning with love. ~Mother Teresa The man had to go to work today so last night when he was out taking/picking the kids up from their school dance he bought me.... now normally I am not a "hothouse flower" type of gal. Oh don't get me wrong, I love the flowers but it is depressing watching them die. Buy me seeds or the plant itself. The man knowing this got something more "me" and something that will take my mind off the flowers...Now most people would laugh that I find that an awesome Valentines gift...well wait till you see what I got him....Nothing says undying love like Home Depot. That's the way we roll!!!

The roses are beautiful, but I can very well understand a greater appreciation for a lovely faucet that works well and looks good.

I am really jealous of your peeping daffodils. I can guarantee you mine will not be doing that for some time yet. But you are right about the birdsong being more cheerful, and more of it. And oh yes, the days are definitely getting longer. It won't be long now.

Sis, I LOVE your new faucet. Kurt has a wonderfully practical and romantic side, thus roses and faucets. Got to love that.

Besides, there is nothing in the middle of a cold long winter that says hope for Spring than some fresh flowers in bloom sitting on your table. A constant reminder than hope of warm weather is on its way. Glad you had such a great day. Missing you all like crazy.
